ECO Award winning Safari Guest Farm/Lodge Duesternbrook, near Windhoek, offers dinner, bed & breakfast and wildlife activities. It has a spectacular cheetah and leopard feeding drive and a stunning safari game drive and different scenic walking trails perfect for nature, bird & animal lovers.
The different rooms are located in separate guesthouses.
All our rooms are individually furnished partly with antique elements, so each room has its own charm and style. The family atmosphere will make you feel at home and like part of this wildlife oasis in Namibia. While you are here, you can make use of our large pool and access to our interesting wildlife info centre.
In our best rooms category we have coffee and tea facilities in the room. We have 32 beds in total, subdivided in different price categories such as a suite, rooms, chalets and safari tents. All rooms are fully furnished with ensuite bathrooms. We also offer a fenced campsite with 24 hours of electricity, toilet and shower (separate for ladies and men). We also offer an open campsite next to the river with a beautiful view of the landscape and the sites are much further apart (60-80 m), but no electricity. Furthermore, we now have 4 Hippo Chalets at a big dam - 3 km from the farmhouse, fully furnished for self-catering or FI. Here you have a nice view over the dam with the three Hippos, waterbirds and game around. We are ideally situated for your first and last nights in Namibia, but also to rest for a few days between the northern and southern parts of your Namibian tour.
The Düsternbrook Safari Guest Farm is situated on the edge of the Khomas Hochland Mountain Range. Düsternbrook Safari Guest Farm is only 50 km (45 minutes) from Windhoek and only 90 km (80 minutes) from the International Airport.
