Hilton is a mysterious romantic village perched high above the city of Pietermaritzburg and situated in the Midlands of KwaZulu Natal in the hub of the Zulu Kingdom. The Midlands scenery changes constantly with its crisp snowy winters, a paradise of colours in autumn and lush different shades of green in summer.
It is an area that breathes tranquility and peace - with soft rain and gentle mist hanging in the folds of the valleys. This beautiful area with its rolling hills and natural forests is aptly referred to as “Little Europe”.
Our unique location means that we have the majestic Drakensberg Mountains, The North and the South Coast of KwaZulu Natal, Nature and Game Reserves all on our doorstep. Hilton Village is also the starting point of the oldest Meander Route in the Country. The acclaimed and scenic Midlands Meander offers quality Arts, Crafts, Restaurants, Delis and many other outstanding workshops and outlets. This area also boasts some of the most prestigious private schools in the country.
Our superior accommodation consists of two well-appointed and fully equipped spacious units, The Studio which is two bed-roomed, one bedroom with a double-bed and the other with two single beds with its own entrance, privacy and secure parking. It has its own kitchen, dining room and lounge, bathroom with shower and bath. The Forest Stay consists of a bedroom with a double bed, kitchen and bathroom. Many pampering extras are offered such as bathrobes, hot water bottles and sherry.
The Studio and the Forest Stay is ideal for families, people on business, tourists, holidaymakers or parents on visit to the private schools.
