Cap Serein Guest House is located on the mountain slopes overlooking Chapman’s Peak Drive and the ocean. It offers a beautiful old-established tranquil garden and a stunning pool and Jacuzzi terrace, where you can sunbathe and cool off while enjoying splendid views. If you’ve come to Cape Town to relax, Cap Serein will suit you right down to the ground.
The rooms at Cap Serein are all excellent hideaways too. Each is decorated in its own unique style. The spacious suites and the cottage at Cap Serein are fitted with satellite TV, tea/coffee facilities, fireplaces, under floor heating in the bathrooms and private patios.
A breakfast buffet with home-baked pastries is served for breakfast in Cap Serein Guest House’s sun room. This room also offers free Wi-Fi for all our guests. At breakfast you’ll also get to see Kurt’s dinner menu, and decide if you’d like to stay in for a three-course meal at Cap Serein that evening.
The evening menus will delight you. You might find yourself sitting down to local cuisine, seafood fresh from Hout Bay Harbour or perhaps something quintessentially French. Traditional South African cookouts such as a braai can also be arranged, and the African boma in the garden is the perfect place to enjoy them.
There are many attractions within a 30 minute drive to Cap Serein Guest House. For a sunny afternoon, the Kirstenbosch Gardens are only 8.5km away. You can also drive to Chapman’s Peak, Table Mountain, V&A Waterfront and the Hout Bay Harbour or simply walk down the road to World of Birds.
