Sparrowhawk Lodge is a completely self catering establishment with a well equipped communal kitchen.
For visitors that do not wish to do their own meals, we have various restaurants, Spar, Wimpy, Pizza Perfect and many pub's within 3-10 km from the lodge.
* A minimum 2 nights stay is required.
* Single night bookings will not be accommodated, unless for group bookings at a minimum rate, and by special arrangement.
* The open plan entertainment area has a large TV, please note that we do not have TV's in the rooms.
*Management will not accommodate visitor's that misbehave when intoxicated.
* Smoking is not allowed in the rooms. There are designated smoking areas.

Nestled on 4 hectares of unspoilt mountains n Broederstroom situated in the foothills of the Magaliesburg Mountains in the North West Province of South Africa.
Sparrowhawk Lodge is the ideal getaway destination situated between Johannesburg, Pretoria and Rustenburg. Sparrowhawk Lodge offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and Hartbeespoort Dam.
There is a large entertainment area that offers a big screen. If a break is required from the hustle and bustle, then the large decks overlooking the African bushveld is the ideal way to spend the evening. Watch the sun go down and listen to the crackling fireplaces which are scattered throughout the establishment.
Besides the nature trails that lead to world class views of the dam and surrounding areas, for the not so energetic there is also a large upper deck with a 270 degree view of the horizon that’s best viewed with a cocktail in hand!
For the adventurous and energetic visitor's, hiking boots are recommended when hiking up the mountain with stunning views over the dam, Magaliesburg mountain's and Peconwood Estate.
The lodge is ideal for group bookings, such as team building, reunion's, friend's and family get togethers.
***Please note that loud music, negative behavior and intoxicated person's will not be tolerated!
We offer self-catering, 'farm style' accommodation. The main lodge has 7 ensuite, open plan rooms that have been individually decorated that comfortably accommodate 1 queen sleeper in each room, with some family rooms (parents with children) that have two additional single beds. In a serene mountain setting, our rooms are both cosy and comfortable. Each room is individually styled, and offers an indigenous South African feel. Our rooms are all spacious, with the finest furniture and fabrics, offering you a luxurious experience of style and space.
All our rooms are equipped with a mini bar fridge, tea and coffee facilities and a separate entrance.
Cold winter evenings can be spent in our communal lounge and bar area, with a warm fireplace and luxurious couches, where you can spend time with friends in a cosy setting or curled up with a favourite book and glass of wine or sundowner.
Visitors and guests are advised that the gravel road (only 1km off the R512) leading to the lodge, should be negotiated with due care, especially vehicle's with low ground clearance.
