"When my family and I arrived at Hog Hollow we were greeted by the friendly staff who made us feel very welcome.
We were swiftly taken to our accommodation where we found a detached wooden lodge which had everything you could wish for comfy sofa, kingsize bed, mini bar, complementary tea, coffee (and yummy biscuits!), stove, plenty of wardrobe space, stand alone bath, walk in shower, cd sound system, separate toilet, plus a simply amazing view of the Tsitisikamma mountains.
The veranda had a hammock which my husband quickly placed himself in! I poured us both a drink and tried to take in the stunning view, so green and you could see for miles.
We quickly unpacked as dinner was awaiting us. When we arrived for dinner the host showed us to a huge table where all the guests dined together. He introduced us to each other and remembered all of the guests names after just seeing us once on arrival.
The dinner was delicious and beautifully presented. I could see myself wanting to stay for more than the two nights we had booked for! After dinner we walked back to our lodge to find a bedtime story book on our bed with a chocolate, which made us feel very pampered and special!
It was so peaceful and we slept really well.
The breakfast was also excellent and reluctantly we headed off for another adventurous day.
I will never for get my stay at Hog Hollow and would urge you not to miss the chance to stay at this fantastic place.
We were on holiday celebrating my husband's 50th birthday with our daughters aged 19 and 21."
