Notts Cottage is a luxury two bedroom self-catering cottage situated on a secure estate in Nottingham Road, KwaZulu-Natal. Nottingham Road is a village easily accessed from the N3 between Johannesburg and Durban, only 20 minutes from the foothills of the Drakensberg.
The landscape is beautiful, with green rolling hills, dotted with fly-fishing dams.
Nottingham Road is also in the heart of the Midlands Meander route with its mix of arts and crafts and restaurants.
The spacious cottage can sleep up to four guests and comprises two bedrooms and an open-plan lounge, dining room and kitchen.
The main bedroom contains an extra length king-size bed (or 2 single E/L beds on request) and a full ensuite bathroom. It is fitted with a ceiling fan for the hotter summer months and includes a handy nook for ladies make-up or computer work station.
The second bedroom contains 2 single extra length beds (or king size E/L on request) and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Both bedrooms have large built-in wardrobes.
The open-plan lounge, dining area and kitchen is air-conditioned and features a flat screen TV with full DSTV coverage and a DVD player. Wi-Fi internet access is available, on request. For the idle hours, there are books to read, magazines to browse, board games, cards and dominoes.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes a stove and oven, fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and kettle together with all the necessary cutlery, crockery and utensils. The tiled patio features both gas and wood burning barbecue facilities and offers the most wonderful view over the farmlands to Giant's Castle and the Drakensberg Mountains.
Notts Cottage is fitted with wall heaters, heated towel rails and electric blankets for winter months.
A lock-up garage is provided for one vehicle, and ample parking is available for your visitors.
