Forest Manor is an impressive, contemporary, classic, luxurious 5 star boutique guest house which has received accolades from magazines such as Woman and Home, The Ridge Magazine and the Home Owner. We are also affiliated to Umhlanga Tourism Council, Tourism Grading Council, NAA-SA, KZN Tourism and the AA Travel Guides.
For tourists, corporate guests and international travellers Forest Manor is well located in the lush prestigious suburb of La Lucia and just a stone’s throw away from the beach and the warm Indian Ocean. It is in close proximity to La Lucia Shopping Mall, Virgin Active gym, La Lucia Ridge Office Parks, Gateway Shopping Centre and the Umhlanga Hospital. It is also close to some of the top class golf courses and is 20 minutes away from the Moses Mabhida World Cup Stadium, the ICC and the new King Shaka International Airport.
The sophisticated residence portrays a touch of stylised eclecticism decorated with attention to detail and is built around the magnificent Milkwood tree set in a central atrium which is a focal feature on its own. In keeping with the forest theme all rooms have been named after trees indigenous to KZN.

Meals are prepared by our friendly team of staff who offer personal and a caring service on site. The well-equipped clinically clean home style kitchen adorned with granite tops and all the modern kitchen hardware essential for preparing 5 star cuisine.
The accommodation comprises of a modern lounge area with state of the art entertainment systems including high definition Plasma screen TV, music system and DSTV. The walk in bar stocked with the finest wines and spirits for the discerning guests who would like to relax and unwind with a sun downer at the pool.
Forest manor accommodation comprises of two luxury rooms Waterwood, Natal Fig, three superior rooms, White Seringa, Zulu Milkberry and Forest Mahogany. Milkwood the family unit which accommodates two adults and two teenagers, and The Manor Suite which is the executive facility consisting of its own personal lounge, private dining and is suitable for a boardroom meeting which accommodates 12 delegates.
All the bedrooms offer unique comfort and are fully air conditioned, supplied with ceiling fans, mini bars, hospitality trays, electronic laptop safes, High definition TV, DSTV, DVD players, i-Pod docking system, CCTV security cameras and Wifi connection. All beds are made up with hypo allergenic bedding and cotton Percale linen.
