Sandford is situated at the foothills of the Ukhahlamba Drakensberg Park Mountains, now a proclaimed World Heritage Site. Sandford offers 50 tastefully decorated and spacious rooms ensuite, giving you a choice of double or family rooms. Executive rooms are also available as well as a honeymoon suite.
Rooms with fireplaces are also available, and require early bookings should you like to stay in one. Thatched roofs ensure you are cool in the summer and warm on those chilly mountain nights.
Guests can relax in our comfy lounge and the dining room - with its cozy atmosphere - offers good food, and warm decor. Our pub, with is blazing log fire in winter, is a favourite amongst many! Breakfast is a sumptuous buffet selection of breakfast cereals, fruit salads, muffins, fruit juices and a delicious mixed grill menu, all rounded off with a satisfying cup of tea or freshly brewed filter coffee.
Set in a picturesque English garden, Sandford is the ideal location for a peaceful rest surrounded by dramatic mountain panoramas. A host of recreational facilities are on offer including bird watching, fishing in the dam, walking on one of the trails or lounging around the pool. Play a leisurely game of croquet, volleyball, badminton, snooker or darts.
Sandford Park sits close to historic battle sites, Royal National Park, Amphitheatre, Spioenkop Nature Reserve and Central Berg.

"We stayed here because it was close to the Spionkok Battlefield and the Royal Natal Park. Hospitality,meals and service was great.
