Amazian Mountain River Lodge a privately owned lodge, situated in the Southern Drakensberg, near the uKhahlamba World Heritage site.
The lodge offers peace and tranquility with beautiful scenery surrounded by the Umzimkulu river.
Amazian Lodge is ideally situated to do a day Trip up the Legendary Sani-Pass into Lesotho
Still your mind even further by going for a beautiful scenic walks.
For the avid fly fisherman try you hand at catching wild rainbow or brown trout on the 2,5km of pristine river frontage.
The area has a number of activities on offer from hiking trails, horse riding to relaxing massages
The lodge has full access control which ensure our guests safety
For the avid birdwatcher, there over 300 bird species are found in the area including the Black stork, Bald ibis, Bearded and Cape vultures, Black eagle, Jackal buzzard, Black harrier, Orange breasted Rockjumper, Drakensberg siskin, the Blue, Crowned and Wattled Crane’s and Denham’s bustard.
End the day with a romantic evening savouring our chef's gourmet creations and recommendations on the complementary wines.
