Your first impression as a guest will be the stunning views over the pond and Ufumene's vast flood plains.
Lodge life mostly happens on the large covered veranda, furnished with sofas, chairs and tables, and a summer kitchen and dining area. A refreshing swim in the pool is only a few steps away. On cold days, life moves indoors to the open plan hall that includes a kitchen, dining room and lounge with an open fireplace. The wine cellar also has a cosy bar, where good fun and company lifts the spirits. Healthy and tasty meals are made from home grown vegetables, venison, lamb, beef, chickens, eggs. We offer our guests a choice of cuisines. Besides a good venison braai and other hearty dishes from South Africa, France and Italy English language TV channels are available to follow the news and major sporting events. And for entertainment, we have a library of books and movies. You will be able to keep in touch with the outside world via cell phone and wireless internet. We are a destination for families. There are so many fun and wholesome things for kids to do.
Your bedroom is spacious, with ensuite changing and bathrooms.
