De Werf Lodge is in the heart of the beautiful Northern Cape near Upington and Kakamas. We cater for conferences, functions, weddings and certainly for most relaxing family friendly holidays. Our location in the Green Kalahari region is 40km southwest of Upington on the main route from Cape Town to Namibia, Augrabies, Kakamas and Kenhardt.
Nearby attractions are the Riemvasmaak Hot Springs, the most beautiful flowering Namaqualand, wildlife preserve and conservation area Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park and the Augrabies Falls National Park with its famous water falls. De Werf offers 21 ensuite rooms beautifully spread out over tree-filled gardens, surrounded by lawns and water features. Each room is equipped with air-conditioning, a bar fridge, coffee and tea making facilities and private braai (BBQ) facilities. All rooms have a cosy patio to watch the Springbok and other wild life roaming the area. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.
Establishment facilities include: swimming pool, gym facilities, church for 45 people, conference room for 100 people, restaurant and bar on premises.
