Bit O’Bushveld brings a sample of the African bush to the heart of Pretoria, capital of South Africa.
It is located in Rietfontein and offers neat self-catering overnight accommodation which is ideally suited to the tourist, business traveller, academic or hospital visitor.
The cottage is in close proximity to three major hospitals, viz.
the Steve Biko Academic Hospital, Eugene Marais Hospital and Moot Hospital. It is also easily accessible from the N1 Highway, University of Pretoria, Tshwane University of Technology, CSIR, National Research Foundation, Loftus Versfeld Stadium and Unisa. Most embassies and consulates are approximately 15 minutes away by car.
Bit O’Bushveld has a living area and separate bedroom with two three-quarter beds and is decorated in a “nostalgic travel” theme. There is a shower and separate toilet with basin (towels and linen are supplied). Arrangements for an extra underage guest can be made.
Guests also have access to free Wi-Fi, full Premium Bouquet DStv satellite television and secure parking.
The kitchenette has a double plate stove, kettle, toaster, microwave oven, crockery, cutlery etc. A private braai (barbeque) area in front of the small veranda allows guests to prepare meals in private in the outdoors.
Bit O’Bushveld is in the Moot (Valley) – one of the safest areas in the capital. It is approximately 10 minutes away from the Union Buildings - featuring the largest statue of Nelson Mandela, 15 minutes from the Hatfield Gautrain station - which links Pretoria to the OR Tambo International Airport and 15 minutes from the Wonderboom Domestic Airport. It is located between three malls and there are a variety of restaurants in the vicinity to choose from.
