Perched high on a koppie with expansive views of the Waterberg Mountains, Bushwa Private Game Lodge is the perfect spot for a weekend safari in a malaria free area in the Limpopo Province.
This luxurious lodge has a variety of accommodation options, including luxury safari tents and chalets with private balconies.
There's even a remote, romantic treehouse overlooking a waterhole that certainly sets the standard in terms of an exclusive romantic wilderness experience.
Bushwa offers a variety of activities from guided game drives, to lazy days at the swimming pool and soothing spa treatments. Bushwa is a piece of bushveld paradise designed to relax the soul and engulf the senses.
Bushwa offers guests three unique safari accommodation options. The accommodation is in four luxury safari style units with indoor baths and outdoor showers. In addition guests can relax on sun loungers on their private decks. The main lodge consists of a bar area, dining area, various lounges and places to relax and an exquisite deck and rim flow pool.
Our most luxurious option is Bushwa Safari Lodge, a beautiful safari lodge perched on the top of a hill and boasting sensational views over the Waterberg bushveld.
Bushwa also offers guests the more rustic Bushwa Rhino Camp. Rhino Camp is ideal for bigger groups and families and offers various accommodation types, including tented chalets, rooms in the lodge and also a loft area perfect for kids. In addition the camp offers guests a heated swimming pool, bar area and kitchen. There is a fireplace, dining rooms and a spacious boma.
The third accommodation option at Bushwa is a Treehouse overlooking a waterhole. It is remotely located the Treehouse ideal for couples looking to get away from it all. With a queen size bed and mosquito net it is a romantic safari personified!
Rates are quoted in South African Rands and are subject to change without prior notice. Rates include government taxes where applicable. If taxes increase, we reserve the right to increase the rate accordingly.
Bushwa Private Game Lodge is located in a private reserve within the Greater Waterberg Biosphere in the Limpopo province.
The nearest town is Vaalwater, which is roughly a 2 - 3 hour drive from O.R Tambo airport.
