Sandriver Lodge
St. Francis Bay
Guest house, Self Catering
(10
rooms)
(6 customer reviews)
Welcome to Sandriver Lodge - The most beautiful, most accommodating and friendliest accommodation in the Eastern Cape. Marc, Anneke and Saskia May own and run the Sandriver Lodge. Together, they enjoy their business of allowing people to feel comfortable and relaxed.
At the gateway to the garden route, seawards from the N2, lies one of the most beautiful and exclusive seaside resorts, St Francis Bay, where you will be warmly welcomed at Sandriver Lodge.
St Francis Bay has an unspoilt style, which began just over 50 years ago by its founder, Latent Hulett, black and white are the colours of the homes in the village and on the canals. Sandriver Lodge is named after the majestic expanse of the indigenous Sandriver Dune System.
All our accommodation is clean, has a nautical feel without clutter and is comfortable and fresh, with each suite having its 'own personality'. Our meals are served in our residential restaurant the Sandriver Cafe. Anneke, a trained chef in Cape Town, prepares and serves breakfasts which keep you coming back for more. Dinners of fresh fish or calamari are also available on request, and prepared and served from the heart. Our rustic braai area is perfect for outdoor entertaining, and can be used by our guests, or Marc and I can prepare your fish, (hopefully caught on-board one of Marcs charters).

Rooms and Rates
Details
Description:
This unit is definitely something different. The sun streams in from the north facing sliding door (your balcony) keeping it a warm room. Leave this sliding door open in summer to smell the sea air, with a slight wind to cool you down. Exposed copper pipes carry the hot water to the shower, along bagged white walls.
Antique furniture combined with driftwood, and open 'hanging' area for your clothes, as well as the 1/2 stable door only partially closing the bathroom from the bedroom, give this room a 'different' feel, nothing ordinary or old fashioned about Sand Box!
