The Vale Karoo Farm is a working farm and lies at the foothills of the majestic Nuveld Mountains in the heart of the Great Karoo. It offers many new holiday and breakaway opportunities on the farm. A new and exciting addition to the farm is the development of a number of leisure activities and accommodation facilities to cater for every taste and need.
It offers many diverse accommodation facilities and after long days in the sun or long travels between Johannesburg and Cape Town you can experience a good night’s rest that will suit your pocket and expectation.
1. Luxury Guest Lodge:
The Lodge, expertly renovated from an old farmhouse from the 1880's to a luxury, highly comfortable Guest Lodge, has 4 exceptional appointed ensuite rooms. Here you will be spoiled with excellent cuisine and homely service.
2. Stone Cottages & Deluxe Caravan ensuite Stands:
There are 8 twin bedded rooms with their own ensuite bathroom and kitchenette. There are also 4 cottages with a double ensuite bedroom and a twin bedded room with a kitchenette. The outdoor adventurer can park a caravan or 4×4 next to these Stone Cottages with its own braai area. You can also spoil yourself with an excellent home cooked meal at the Guest Lodge.
3. Communal Hunters Lodge:
A beautifully converted old stone farm shed. Here you can stay in the comfort of the very affordable self-catering facility that can accommodate the whole family and even your friends. Enjoy unforgettable evenings in the boma under the Karoo sky. It is perfect for larger groups of up to 12 people.
