Located on the banks of the Orange River, just 1.5km outside of Aliwal North, Conville Farm is the ideal get away location or overnight point on your way to or from the Cape.
The farm offers guests a choice of staying in the Red, Yellow or Green Room, each with a private entrance. Each room is furnished with a comfortable double bed and has an en-suite bathroom with a bath or shower, or both.
A cot or a mattress can be added for a child. Breakfast is served and other meals can be arranged on request.
Establishment facilities include:
• Indoor fireplace.
• Parking on premises.

You are really staying in the family's house with separate entrances to the rooms. That, of course comes with all the family pets and chatting to the owners too. Listening to Anthony tell me a quick history of the house and the current drought struggles was interesting.
We felt like we could have a family game of soccer on the lawn with no problem at all - the location is really beautiful.
We had a delicious breakfast at the house.
The house does need some basic maintenance but that certainly won't detract from your stay.
Aliwal North has a couple of places to eat so all in all a good place to stay over. "
