Rocky Road Backpackers is set in a 5 hectare small-holding amidst indigenous forest and open grazing pastures located in The Crags, which is +/- 20km (16 miles) east of Plettenberg Bay, Rocky Road is the gateway between the country's Western Cape and Eastern Cape Provinces and is ideally situated to provide superb accommodation for travellers. We are 15 minutes away from the world's highest bungy at Bloukrans Bridge and a mere 10 minute drive down a spectacular mountain pass to the unspoiled Natures Valley beach in Tsitsikamma National Park, frequently described as the Jewel of The Garden Route.
Your options for accommodation range from fully equipped double or twin luxury tents which overlook the indigenous forest to cottages, timber cabins and hostel style dorms.
