Come and enjoy our breath taking panorama of Cathkin Peak and Champagne Castle forming part of the Drakensberg mountain range. River Crossing is an oasis of peace situated on 100 acres of farmland, bordered by the Sterkspruit and Mtoti Rivers where you can enjoy our upper or lower river walks. There is a tar road right up to our farm. We have 14 stylish and romantic bedrooms, all ensuite, sleeping 28. There are 4x 2 bedroom self-catering suites, a self-contained 4-bedroomed Villa and 2 bedrooms in the management Villa. (For detailed room descriptions, see the "Accommodation" page.)
Each unit has a small fridge, DSTV hotel bouquet, private patio door. Accommodation suitable for a large family. It has a fully equipped kitchen and open plan lounge/dinette with fireplace - provide own wood.
We have hosted various types of functions in our lovely Lapa which can be fully enclosed or open-fronted. The Lapa overlooks the pool and faces out to a splendid panorama. There are a Ladies and Gentleman ablution block nearby with toilets and showers. The Lapa accommodates up to 70 people seated and in excess of 250 people in a marquee. We can advise on caterers within our proximity with whom arrangements can be made to provide meals, cutlery, crockery, seating, marquees etc., where this is required.
