The River Cottage is the ideal escape destination. Set in the remote Witzenberg Valley, the cottage is beautifully furnished and appointed and offers guests the opportunity to engage with the outdoors in all its glory – hiking, fishing, kloofing, mountain biking or simply chilling.
The River Cottage is situated on a cliff overlooking the Olifants River.
A wrap around deck provides spectacular views of the river and mountains. The cottage is dominated by a large dining / kitchen / living area (include sofa bed) with a fire place. There is a shared bathroom off this area. There are three bedrooms.
Bedroom 1 with queen ensuite with shower and toilets. Bedroom 2 have a queen with an outside shower and basin. Loft area with three single beds. This is best suited to kids. All the rooms are very comfortably appointed with cotton bed linen and towels.
The River Cottage has all the facilities and equipment needed to ensure guests' comfort and enjoyment. There is an outside braai area.
