Situated near the majestic Magaliesberg Mountains and the historical Hartbeespoort Dam, B’sorah farm is less than an hour away from Johannesburg and Pretoria. Despite being so close, you will find yourself surrounded by breath-taking views and the diverse natural surroundings of our family-run farm. The farm consists of dense bush, open grassland and riverine vegetation which runs along streams flowing into the Skeerpoort river.
Game includes kudu, nyala, waterbuck, impala and blesbuck, as well as warthogs, baboons and nocturnal species such as brown hyena and jackal. Here you can relax in a natural environment where the twitter of birds, the presence of roaming game and the trickle of a gentle stream is all that surrounds you.
Surrounded by the historical and natural landmarks of Hartbeespoort and Magaliesberg, this retreat is ideal for guests planning to experience the sights and sounds that the area has to offer. Unlike our other tents which provide our guests with an up close and personal approach to experiencing nature around you, Swempie Tent has a more sophisticated design to tend to all your needs while still embracing the gentle rustling breeze and the calls of the wild around you. Swempie Tent has everything you need for a luxurious breakaway to the bush, while providing complete privacy as well as peace and quiet. Facilities include: Queen-sized bed and comfortable furniture, ensuite bathroom with a dressing table, shower and bath, outside kitchenette and a private barbeque area, linen, towels and bathroom amenities, pots, pans, cutlery, crockery and kitchen utensils, two-plate gas stove, electric kettle and tea/coffee accessories, electricity throughout tent, fridge with water dispenser, and a heater in winter months and fan in summer months.
