Umdloti is a small village along the warm Indian Ocean.
It is 10.5 km south of King Shaka Airport and 25 km north of Durban.
Die Strandhuis has 4 separate types of accommodation, The House, The Embuia, The Rosewood and Greta.
All are self-catering, are situated in a garden, have full sea view, are 100m from the beach and are pet friendly (small pets).
Each room has a ceiling fan. No parties are allowed.
All are serviced daily except Sundays and public holidays.
Bath towels, all linen, dishcloths, etc are supplied – bring beach towels.
M-Net, M- Net Magic 1 & 2, Kyk Net, all Sports Channels, SABC 1, 2, 3 and E-TV are available.
Excellent restaurants, one of which serves a very good breakfast from 7h00, are 500m (walking distance) from Die Strandhuis.
Units:
1. The House (minimum of 4 and maximum of 7 people; sea view). (For privacy let only to one family or a group that knows each other).
The House, surrounded by a garden, has a very large stoep with a built-in Braai.
It has a lounge/dining room, a fully equipped kitchen and scullery, two bathrooms and three sea-facing bedrooms. Own entrance and a lock-up double garage.
2. The Embuia (choice of 1 or 2 rooms; sleeps 2 or 4; sea view) Ideal for a family.
The main room (with full bathroom) is arranged as a large bachelor flat (40 sq.m).
It has a fully equipped kitchenette and a TV/Lounge area.
The Blue Room (own bathroom with shower, toilet and basin) leads out of the main room, has two single beds and cupboard. It also has a private outside entrance.
A stainless steel braai trolley is available.
Parking is on the property, secured by a remote controlled gate.
3. The Rosewood (bachelor unit; sleeps 2; sea view).
The Rosewood (full bathroom) has a fully equipped kitchenette and a TV/Lounge area.
The front door opens onto a small sea-facing patio and the back door leads to the garden.
A stainless steel braai trolley is available.
Parking is on the property, secured by a remote controlled gate.
4. Greta's is a lovely brand new Deluxe Unit, that sleeps 2 guests in a King size bed. It has a separate bedroom with en-suite bathroom (shower only). There is an open plan, fully equipped kitchen. There are sliding doors opening from the lounge area onto a private wooden deck – beautiful sea view!
The front door opens onto a sea-facing patio and the back door leads to the garden. A stainless steel braai trolley is available (no braaing on the wooden deck). Secure parking in a lock up garage is available on the property.
