High Hopes B&B offers stylish, comfortable accommodation and country-house luxury. All rooms have excellent quality beds and are well-appointed. Weather permitting, breakfast will be served on the guest verandas overlooking the fountain, but mostly in the large music room overlooking the Lily pond.

The High Hopes garden is something to behold. Its rich tree life attracts birds of all types, including a giant kingfisher which tries to fish goldfish from the fountain pond! Indigenous and exotic trees live side by side, forming canopies under which smaller trees, climbing roses and other shrubs form an exquisite cottage garden. The garden is perhaps most famous for its more than a thousand roses. The garden itself can be hired for weddings or even just for photographs.

The garden has lovely features for water lovers - a geometric pond with goldfish and water plants out of which rises a tiered fountain, a large and beautiful lily-pond, and a swimming pool. Twenty odd large Koi fish swim lazily in the dappled light of the lily-pond. Natural spring water fills the pond, which is topped by Greyton's well-known 'lei-water', filling it to its brim until it overflows and runs in a little stream into and out of the garden.

High Hopes Healing Energy Centre gives you the space for your body-spirit-mind to integrate. Guests and Greyton residents are welcome. Enjoy a massage or a deeply relaxing reiki session offered by an experienced and qualified practitioner. Reiki and massage both direct and improve the flow and quality of energy throughout our system. Both are safe and wonderful ways to heal and rejuvenate. Heated by a fireplace in winter, and cooled by a breeze off the lily-pond in summer, this garden healing room is a sanctuary. Sessions are by appointment only, and are charged from R450 per hour.

There are a few things with which Greyton is synonymous. The first is the Greyton - McGregor hiking trail, of which Greyton is the entrance. The second is its 10am. Saturday morning market at which one can buy beautifully turned wooden bowls, cheeses, breads, bakes, books, bookmarks, hand crafts, organic produce, water colours, organic herb seedlings, other plants, or one can simply browse in between sitting down to a cup of tea or coffee and meeting the locals. The third are its lovely restaurants, bric-a-brac shops and galleries - all part of village life. The fourth is its advantageous position on the Overberg meander, with other nearby places of interest to visit. Just a few reasons to visit Greyton...although there are so many more.
