Eikelaan Farm self-catering Cottages are full equipped and spotlessly clean. The cottages have indoor fireplaces and are equipped with air-conditioning. Farm guests are welcome to enjoy walks in the fynbos, observing birdlife, amazing sunsets across the Tulbagh Valley and the star-gazing is highly recommended.
Each cottage has an indoor fireplace making for cosy winters in a corner of the world where snow on the nearby mountains isn't uncommon. On the other hand, if you're dropping in during the summer months, you'll be thrilled to know the units have air-conditioning and overhead fans, as well as easy access to a swimming pool and shady lapa.
Eikelaan is a working farm. We farm with vines, olives, grain and sheep. As you can gather there is an abundance of activity on the farm. We are situated 5km from the historic town of Tulbagh and 90 minutes from Cape Town off the R46. The farm is 200 Hectares in size and is surrounded by the Witzenberg and Winterhoek Mountain Ranges. The farm offers accommodation in the form of self-catering cottages. It offers you the opportunity to re-charge your batteries by breaking away from reality for a totally relaxing and rejuvenating stay in the scenic surroundings.
