Close your eyes and let the smell from the majestic thatched roofs tickle the nose, or jump in the pool and let the water surround you like black velvet.
Spend the night in the presidential suite, or take a walk on over 80 acres of presidents, kings and nobelprisvinderes footsteps.
In-room facilities includes: coffee and tea making facilities and refrigerator capacity for each room.
Establishment facilities include: pool, bath towels 1 piece for each guest, pool house with table tennis, billiards and darts, laundry fee, microwave, high chairs and travel beds for children, Wi-Fi in and around the main house, air conditioning in 2 rooms and the rest have fan. Non-smoking house.
The vineyards are an experience at any time of year. Maybe in January and February especially - when they are carrying the heavy bunches later to become excellent wine. Look at the grapes, looking at the leaves. Studying the differences and maybe you can tell the difference between the seven different kinds of grapes grown on the farm before your vacation is over. It is also exciting to follow guavas, lemon, olive and satsumas year round. Franschhoek means the French corner, and is South Africa's third most celebrated wine town - after Stellenbosch and Paarl. The name refers to the French Huguenotter who founded the city in slutnngen of the 1600s, after being chased out of France for their religious beliefs. They brought knowledge of wine with from France, and swollen immediately level of the wines produced in the Cape Colony. The city is today the most fashionable of the three wine villages, and offers excellent restaurants, antique shops, wineries and chocolate shops.
