Woodlands Stop Over & Lodge offers Self Catering Accommodation and Camping in Francistown, Botswana and is situated on the site of the “Hunters’ Road” and overlooking the Tati River, 10km North of Francistown on the Nata/Maun/Kasane A3 route just 7 hours from Pretoria, 5 hours from Maun and 5 hours from Kasane.
Make use of the lovely sparkling swimming pool to refresh you after a long journey.
Unwind in our luxurious Woodlands Cottage which sleeps 4 in two separate ensuite rooms or in the comfortable Riverview ensuite rooms sleeping 2 each. Both are fully equipped for the self-caterer.
Upgraded from camping would be the campsite Chalets which are tastefully decorated but do not have ensuite facilities. The Deck Room, of which there is only one, is hidden at the bottom of the campsite and comfortably decorated sleeping two on teak framed beds. It has its own private outdoor shower but the toilet facilities are shared in the ablution facility.
The ablution facility is within easy walking distance of all the campsite and chalets.
Establishment facilities include: Beautiful bird and walking trails around the property and Dinkie Dam.
A birding paradise!
Sightings of some antelope and small cat family is highly likely.
Please note:
***Non arrivals (no-show) will be liable to pay the full rate for the first night.
***Unfortunately we do not accept day visitors.
***Children aged between 0 and 2 stay free.
***No music or rowdy parties allowed.

Nestled away at the bottom of the campsite and away from all the activity this beautifully furnished room takes on the full flavour of a deck cabin offering all the comforts of a room. It sleeps two people on three-quarter teak framed beds made up with crisp, clean linen and towel.
Private braai only. No self-catering facilities except tea/coffee. Private parking is adjacent to the room. It is NOT en-suite but has a private exclusive OUTDOOR SHOWER next to the room. The toilet is in the shared ablution.
