Hidden among the bushveld of the majestic Magaliesberg Mountains, B'sorah is situated near the Hartbeespoort Dam, less than an hour away from Johannesburg and Pretoria. Despite being so close, you will find yourself in a totally different world – Africa at its best.
The 1600-hectare farm consists of dense bush, open grassland and riverine vegetation which runs along streams flowing into the Skeerpoort River.
Game includes kudu, nyala, waterbuck, impala and blesbuck, as well as warthogs, baboons and nocturnal species such as brown hyena and jackal. Here you can relax in a natural environment where the twitter of birds, the presence of roaming game and the trickle of a gentle stream is all that surrounds you.
B’sorah is home to a luxury safari tented camp. Surrounded by the historical and natural landmarks of Hartbeespoort and Magaliesberg, our eco-friendly retreat is prefect for guests planning to experience the sights and sounds that the area has to offer, or explore the farm by foot or bicycle and you will find yourself in a nature lover’s paradise where you can simply unwind and relax.
The Hartbeespoort Dam with its shops and attractions, including the Elephant and Monkey Sanctuaries, the Lion and Safari Park, the Ann van Dyk Cheetah Centre and Bill Harrop’s Balloon Safaris are all nearby.
After an exciting day of exploring, you can return to the comforts of your own private safari tent and listen to the francolins’ call at sunset, the perfect accompaniment to your evening barbecue.

Description:
Each tent is situated under the covering of beautiful trees and overlooks a small stream, with an ensuite bathroom (large shower), queen sized bed, upholstered chairs, a deck and your own private barbecue area. Each shower has a large window overlooking the bush, and none of the showers are outside so the cold stays outside.
The tents are eco-friendly as it uses solar power for lights. A donkey (wood burning geyser) provides hot water in each tent and is attended to by our staff at all times. Each tent has a two-plate gas stove as well as a private barbecue area. The tents cannot accommodate large electrical appliances such as hair dryers, but there is an outlet in each tent to charge your phone. The tent does not have a microwave. The tents are equipped with all necessary cutlery, crockery, pots and pans. There is a wash up basin. All linen and towels are also provided.
We have a grill, tongs as well as firewood for sale at a small cost per bag, and you only have to bring firelighters, briquettes (if preferred) and your own food as the tents are self-catering.
Each tent's location is handpicked; leaving you with your own view and surrounding bush, while experiencing complete privacy.
