This AfriCamps location in Robertson is surrounded by spectacular mountain fynbos with streams and farm dams. This makes the camp ideal for swimming, fishing, mountainbiking and hiking.
Robertson is the western gateway to The Heart of Route 62, only a 1, 5 hour drive from Cape Town.
AfriCamps 55m2 custom made tents consist of a spacious open plan lounge area with a comfortable couch and a fully equipped kitchen.
The dining room area has a solid wooden table with enough seating for 5 people. For winter months the fireplace will be the perfect way to warm up the tent, bringing in an intimate setting for you and your love ones.
Both bedrooms are furnished with a queen size bed and have their own private entrance which allows maximum privacy. One of the bedrooms also contains an extra single bunk bed, so the tent will comfortably sleep a family of 5. Our tents are equipped with an air conditioning unit to keep you cool during those hot summer nights and a private bathroom with a hot shower cabin, washbasin and flushing toilet. The private wooden deck at the front of the tent comes with comfortable wooden loungers from where you can overlook the peaceful natural surroundings of a working farm or beautiful estate. When days get warmer you can pull up the front covers and transform the tent into a big outdoor living area. Here you can unwind and appreciate a festive family breakfast while enjoying the beautiful weather and taking in the serene natural beauty of the South African landscape.
Establishment facilities include: swimming, fishing (bass fishing), mountain bike rental, breakfast baskets and dinner packages (optional), catering options, babysitting service (optional), laundry service (optional) and Wi-Fi.
Please note:
- Children aged between 0 and 2 stay free.
Important notice for check-in:
- Prior arrangements need to be made, guests are kindly requested to inform Stephan and Lindi of the camp reception with their check in time. Please phone Stephan and Lindi 30 minutes prior to arrival. This way you are ensured that the check in can be arranged without delays.
Other terms and conditions:
- Unfortunately no pets are allowed on the farm.
- The following items or services are not included in the price, unless otherwise stated: Food and beverage, activities and tours.
- Daily cleaning service (complimentary cleaning every 4th day only).
- Wood and firelighters for the woodstove and campfires (for sale at farm).
- The optional breakfast baskets are placed in the tent for guests to prepare themselves.
- AfriCamps and the corresponding farm accept no liability for: theft, loss or damage, of whatever nature, during or as a result of a stay on one of our affiliated farms, falling into defect or putting out of action of technical equipment and loss or closure of supplies on the farm.
- The guests and those who accompany him or her, are jointly and severally responsible for all loss and/or damage which arises, for AfriCamps, the farm in question and/or any third party as a direct or an indirect consequence of their stay, irrespective of whether this was caused through actions or refraining from actions by themselves or by third parties, who are at the farm through their making, as well as of all damage which is caused by any animal and/or matter which they have under their responsibility.
- If you leave your tent in an improper condition, AfriCamps is entitled to charge an additional (cleaning) costs.
