Mjejane Private Game Reserve is situated on 10km of Crocodile River frontage on the southern border of Kruger and has been incorporated into the greater Kruger National Park. View the big five from the lodge overlooking the bush veld or do a self-drive safari into Kruger. Game animals including the big five are free to move between Mjejane and the greater Kruger National Park.
Game drives are available, R250 per person with the lodges own private game vehicle and guide. Bush walks can be arranged through the Bush camp offices (Only Tuesday and Thursdays) or you can contact the numbers below directly.
Situated only 32km from the Crocodile Bridge gate and 17km from the Malelane gate into the Kruger National Park. Close enough (19km) to the town of Malelane to ensure all your daily self-cratering needs are within easy reach.
Over and above the intimate Bushveld experience with the big five there are three golf courses within 30 minutes’ drive including the world renowned Leopard Creek. If golf is not your passion then you could try Tiger fishing close by.
Lodge 91 is situated on the Western side of the main river lodge along the bush stands. The unit consist of 3 bedrooms (two with double beds), a kid’s room, and two full bathrooms. Both main bedrooms and lounge have air-conditioning. Gas geysers for each bathroom and stove ensure minimal impact from power interruptions. External deck overlooks the bush veld and braai area. Under cover parking is provided for 2 vehicles.
The pool is a short walk away. A small community shop is run from the club house but only the very basic necessities are offered. Jungle gyms, outdoor chess and games room (pool table, fuzz ball, TV etc.) are available to keep the children entertained.
Sundowner deck offers spectacular views over the Crocodile River. Main lodge pool is available with a fully serviced bar and restaurant.
Emergency contact numbers are displayed behind the front door.
Mjejane is extremely quiet with only the sounds of the bush to interrupt your afternoon siesta. Please refrain from playing load music and disrupting the true bush veld experience.
The perimeter fence is intended more to keep the larger animals like hippo, elephant and buffalo out of the main lodge area. Lion and Leopard are known to easily navigate getting through the fence so please enforce no walking around after dark with all guests. Should animals approach the fence maintain a safe distance at all times.
The lodge will be ready from 14h00 on date of arrival. Earlier arrivals can be arranged. Please vacate the lodge by 10h00 on date of departure to enable the lodge to be cleaned.
Please note:
* There is a breakage deposit required.
* Should you require a domestic to come in and clean, make beds, do dishes, washing etc. this is charged at an additional cost from Monday (08h00 – 14h00) to Saturday (08h00 – 11h00). Unfortunately service not available on Sundays and public holidays as there is no transport on these days.

"If you like this type of environment this is the perfect place. I enjoyed the safari like surrounding. It had a difference to your normal everyday scenery.
