Self-catering luxury apartment 414 with all the amenities of a resort hotel, including loads of activities for kids. Breakers Resort is on the sought-after Umhlanga Rocks beachfront ‘Golden-Mile’ promenade. It borders the warm waters of the Indian Ocean and the Hawaan Forest Nature Reserve & Lagoon (50m from the beach).
A 20 minute drive from both the international airport and Durban. Ideal for couples, small families (maximum 2 kids) and business travellers.
The studio apartment, a large open-plan room, is best suited to accommodate 2 adults in a king size bed and 2 children on a short sleeper couch. A maximum number of 4 persons is allowed. The luxury apartment has a ceiling fan and air-conditioner, and a flat screen TV with USB port and over 30 digital satellite video channels. Beautiful garden, pool, lagoon and sea views from the balcony. It has a very well equipped kitchen for self-catering and is fully serviced daily. Bathroom is very modern with a large shower and hand-held spray for toddlers. Soap and toilet rolls are provided.
The resort has direct access to the beach, Hawaan forest & lagoon, and the 'Golden-Mile' promenade walkway along the beachfront. It has 3 swimming pools, including a kid's pool with slides and a heated lap pool, gym, trampoline, beach volleyball court, jungle gym, pool bar, restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating under a nomadic tent, coffee shop and cocktail lounge, braai/barbeque area, wheelchair friendly ramps, games room with pool tables and table tennis, action cricket and soccer, kiddie’s activity centre, spa & beauty salon, hairdresser, laundromat, same-day dry cleaning, and daily activities for the kids.
Please note:
* Children aged between 0 and 12 stay free.
* No overnight visitors are permitted.
* If paying by credit card, a copy of your ID (driver's licence, ID document or passport), together with a signed copy of the transaction slip (will be emailed to you) is required up front.
* Smoking in the apartment is strictly prohibited.
* Wi-Fi is only available in the reception & lounge area, with 100MB provided free of charge daily. Speak to reception staff regarding the connection.
* Supplied towels are for use in the apartment only. Beach towels are available at reception.
* Loud noise and music is not permitted at any time of the day. Please adhere to the rules of the resort.
* Children under the age of 21 require one biological parent or legal guardian to be present for the full duration of the stay. Admission will not be given to unaccompanied minors and the guest will forfeit any amount already paid. Transgressors will have their booking terminated at full cost.
* Please note that to maintain the current high standards, the resort undergoes maintenance and renovations from August to November, weekdays between 09h00 and 16h00. Guests may experience some inconvenience as a result thereof.
