Manico Camp is situated on the beautiful Inhaca Island in Mozambique, just a short and scenic 3 hour ferry ride from the bustling city of Maputo.
Manico Camp has 7 self-catering one bedroom brick cabins, 13 self-catering 1 bedroom bush cabins and 10 shady camping sites with power points and clean ablutions with hot and cold water. For those who enjoy camping but do not have the equipment, Manico Camp also offers fully equipped tents with full bedding supplied. Campers may use the communal kitchen which has gas stoves, electric freezers and refrigerators.
The huts are located about 10m from the water at high tide and feature electricity, an electric fan and power point. Guests also have access to an ablution block and a fully fitted communal kitchen facility.
Establishment facilities include: airport shuttle service, braai / barbecue, bar on the premises, boma fire, no credit card facility, curio shop, fully equipped kitchen with gas hob and oven.
Please note: * Inhaca is an Island 30km from Maputo, you can only reach the Island by boat. The ferry runs on a Wednesday, Friday and Sunday (The ferry times or days can change due to weather) alternatively you can contact a private boat service in Maputo to take you and pick you up to and from the island. You are not able to take a vehicle to the island, but you will be able to book vehicles to take you around the island if you wish to do some island site seeing!Read More ›
