From the moment we arrived we were made to feel like close family (the welcome type!). Nothing was too much trouble for the van der Nest family and they really were the perfect hosts. The location is simply stunning and seeing and hearing all the wonderful wildlife on your doorstep is just amazing! The food cooked and prepared by Etienne and Joyce (and served by Francois!) was quite possibly the best food we have ever had.

Francois and Etienne were more than happy to arrange any trips for us and the guides they use were excellent. Throughout our stay we noticed several personal touches which made the stay even more special and we can whole heartedly recommend this lodge to anyone. "
