Dunvegan Lodge is situated high on the Clovelly mountainside with spectacular views over the Clovelly golf course and Fish Hoek valley. Each room is spacious, finished with quality fittings and is individually decorated which is loved by all who stay here.
The Lodge is a Self-catering Guest House and offers the following options:
Bay room Suite - 1 Bedroom
Pool room Suite - 1 Bedroom
African Attic Suite - 2 Bedrooms
Studio - 1 Bedroom
Cottage - 1 Bedroom
Exclusive Villa - entire Guest House offered as a self-catering Villa - 8 Bedrooms, spacious large living area - sleeps 16+
The Guest house is spacious and offers beautiful decks and patios all around the house, allowing each room a private area where one could sit and either enjoy the views of the fynbos (flora) covered mountainside or the magical vistas over the Fish Hoek valley.
Clovelly has a tranquil, country atmosphere where one is safe and secure at all times allowing you to enjoy a happy holiday with your family and friends. It is centrally situated for visits to Cape Town Waterfront, the Wine route, Cape Point Nature Reserve, the Jackass Penguins at Boulders beach and the safe beach of Fish Hoek. From July to December the calm water of False Bay plays host to the Southern Right Whales which are easily visible from the beach. Fish Hoek is a 5-minute drive and has a large variety of shops, restaurants and pubs. If you are a Scuba Diving fanatic some of the best spots can be found on this coast line.
The Lodge has direct access to the hiking trails and caves of the Silvermine Nature Reserve and is a 12-minute walk to the beach. It is situated adjacent to the Clovelly Country Club, which boasts one of the finest 18 hole golf courses in the Peninsula (rated as 48th best course in S.A. by the S.A. Golf Digest) plus tennis courts, bowling greens, a restaurant and lovely bar.

Pool Suite:
Consists of a lovely big bedroom with king-size bed (or can be split into 2 singles) and an en-suite bathroom with shower a separate private lounge/dining area with a kitchenette. The lounge has sliding doors out onto a lovely balcony with outdoor furniture and a view over the pool and towards the golf club. (The bedroom is large and it is possible for us to add in an extra bed if needed)
Separate One Bedroomed Cottage (Sleeps 2):

During the December holidays and Easter holidays we only offer the Guest House as an exclusive Villa to a large group. This is fantastic for a large extended family wanting to get together.
We have a minimum of 16 days over the peak December holidays and 7 days for other times of the year.
The Villa consists of all units in the guest house: The Cottage, The Pool Suite, the Bay Suite , The main house area with 2 lovely bedrooms, a large open plan dining room kitchen and family room, separate TV lounge and bar, The African Attic and the Studio. There is a separate laundry.

"Dunvegan Lodge is a wonderful lodge in the Kalk Bay/Fish Hoek area south of Cape Town. It is 5 minutes by car to both Fish Hoek and Kalk Bay. From our rooms we could see both the Atlantic and Indian Oceans-just spectacular! The lodge has multiple levels so every room or suite is private. There is a pool and a hot tub. The gardens are beautiful. Sylvia and Peter are great hosts-very helpful arranging dinner reservations for us at different restaurants in the area. The lodge backs up onto Silvermine Nature Reserve so we took hikes right out of the back of the property. Very good value for a wonderful lodge.
