Our generous hosts gave us one more night, free of charge! Thank you so much, that made our day(s)! We stayed in Kennel 1 and there was not one thing that we needed, that was not supplied. We had lovely weather and we really enjoyed our time there. Thank you so much! God willing, we will see you again."

"We loved the cottage we stayed in, "Honnehok nommer 2". Light and sunny and adequately equipped. Attie welcomed us and made us feel right at home straight away. A very interesting area to view. Huge, unusual rock formations with pounding waves sending spray high into the sky. The remains of the wreck along the shoreline was of added interest ,as so much of its mangled steel structure can still be seen. Even the remains of the huge turbines are still clearly visible. The flowers between Garries and Hondeklipbaai were breathtaking. All in all the best part of our trip."

"We had a hearty welcome at Die Honnehokke in Hondeklip Bay. The owner, Attie was not in but we had "the second in charge", who was very friendly and efficient and showed us to our unit. When we asked if it was possible to move us to another unit with better view, he quickly went through the bookings list and agreed to do so. At this stage Attie arrived and assured us it was fine. The units are very basic but well equipped and very clean.

Friendly people to deal with!

(South Africa) Mr Kotze

"One night is way too short to stay in this fine establishment and to view the scenery. Attie is very friendly and helpful - next time we will pay a visit to his bar and hopefully he will sing a song or two.
The rooms are big with clean bedding & towels and interesting decor.
