Breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. We had use of kitchen to prepare snacks to have with sundowners on the room balcony with a few over False Bay.

Our room was well appointed with thoughtful touches throughout, such as bathrobes and a handy wall plug in close proximity to the mirror for the ladies that want to blow-dry their hair.

Definitely going on our return visit card."

"We found Blue Horizon on the internet and recognised it as soon as we saw it, having stayed very close by when we were last in Gordon’s Bay (GB) a few years ago. The building was still under construction at the time. We were not disappointed and found Karen's hospitality was excellent, very welcoming and always helpful.

We stayed in the deluxe room which is at the top of the house, involving the negotiation of various steps and doors, not suitable for anyone with impaired mobility, although this is true of most places on GB’s Mountainside area. This is always compensated by the views across False Bay to watch the breathtaking sunsets from the balcony.

The room was well serviced, very clean and comfortable, and with the most comfortable bed. Air conditioning was included, and windows and doors opening onto a balcony mean the Mountainside breeze was also available to keep the room cool.

WiFi broadband internet access was available, but only by using the common sitting room. Direct access to WiFi in the room would be useful, for the workaholics.

All-in-all a great place to which we would be very happy to return any time."
