Experience the charm and comfort of Cypress Cottage, one of the oldest homesteads in the historic village of Swellendam. This 18th century guesthouse (circa 1796) offers stylish and individually decorated bedrooms, lush gardens with century old Oak trees and wooden sun terrace with sparkling pool.

Cypress Cottage is a family run guesthouse and each member of the staff will go above and beyond their call of duty to ensure the very best for the discerning guest.

Full of character, the six comfortable and individual bedrooms have tasteful combinations of old and contemporary furniture. All the rooms have fully appointed private bathrooms. Two Cape Colonial rooms are housed in the old homestead and the 200 year old horse stables have been converted into 4 suites with views on the secluded sun terrace with sparkling pool. A two-bedroom family suite is also available.

In rooms facilities: Non-smoking rooms, heating & air conditioning, and a fireplace in the family suite, en-suite bathroom.

The following facilities and services are rendered - 24 hour front desk, DSTV in guest lounge, wooden sun terrace with deck chairs, sparkling pool, barbeque facilities, safe and secluded parking, free Wifi, and credit card facilities.
