"Our family of 11 adults stayed at Luso Country Lodge. The rooms were clean and spacious and the garden neat. Unfortunately, this is where it ends. The receptionist was not welcoming at all. Her baby was in reception and it looked like it was an effort for her to get up and help us. We noticed a very big sign on the outside wall of the lodge advertising FREE BREAKFAST FOR 2 with each room at vILLA Luso. When I enquired about this at the reception on Sunday morning, I found a highly incompetent male at reception. He didn't even bother to get up to assist me. I asked whether we should book for breakfast, and he's only reply was 'it is at vILLA Luso'. I went on to ask the times when breakfast is served - he's response was '8-11'. When we wanted to make coffee, we found only 2 cups in the 3 sleeper rooms? We thenalso discovered some rooms didn't have any sugar. When we asked for sugar at reception, we were told 'they are out of stock'We decided to drive to vILLA Lusofor breakfast. Upon our arrival, there was nobody in sight. the front door was locked, no lights on or any indication of an operating lodge. We knocked but nobody responded. We called the cell phone number on the sign, but it was switched off. We called the land line number on the sign, but got through to reception at Luso County lodge. It felt like we stayed at a 'truck stop' and I will certainly not recommend these 2 lodges to anybody who does not want to be misled by false advertising and disgusting reception services."

It is just 15min drive to the Kruger Park and therefore very convenient for Safaris. "

"Guys You Must Try Luso Country Lodge, What You See On The Net Is What You Get. People There Are Very Understanding And Friendly. Is a Very Quiet Place Good For Peace Of Mind.
