Bergsig is spread over 3,000 hectares consisting of savannah, grass plains, thick bushveld, mountains and valleys. While some of the Big Five mammals, like the buffalo and rhinoceros, can be experienced at this private game reserve, there are more than 30 different species of wildlife to see. For bird lovers, there are over 100 species indigenous to the area that you can be on the lookout for.

Chalets are located on the Hartenbosriver and enjoy their own braai facilities and look-out deck on the river while being completely private. In-Room facilities include Wi-Fi, DSTV and air-conditioner.

Activities around the reserve include game drives, quad bike, game drives and trails, helicopter flights, scenic flights, whale watching, Great White Shark viewing, paint balling, canoeing on the Hartenbosdam, absailing, rock climbing, walking trails, horse riding and fishing.
