I will definitely go there again to the extent that I donated a sum of money for the cause.

The interaction we had in the 'Kindergarten' was the most awesome experience of our life! We have absolutely fallen in love with all the Vervet monkeys on the property and we will most definitely be going again! The best part about the experience is that there is no cellphone reception so we had the chance to completely unwind and take everything in.

The self-catering chalets are great and are really fully equipped (your home away from home)! Truly nice and very affordable accommodation with gorgeous views.

From having breakfast on your own personal stoep, watching the baboon troop and warthog family making their way straight past the chalets in the mornings and the one-horned buck grazing along in the background, to the peaceful evening braais and Bush Baby spotting. The main attraction at Bambelela, which just melted our hearts, are the Vervet monkeys, especially the baby monkeys and we were so fortunate to experience their “nappy hour” before bedtime and also hands on interaction and playing with them in their kindergarten. Bambelela is simply marvelous! It was one weekend we will never forget and one that we will definitely repeat soon! "
