"Vir die prys is dit 'n lekker plekke om af te pak. Miskien bietjie rof as meer luukse verwag word maar baie lekker kampplek en chalets skoon. Was baie vriendelik en hulpvaardig. Lekker gebly."

"We stayed at Sasa Safari for 9 nights from which to explore the region, Etosha is 45 minutes away and as the accommodation is so reasonably priced it's worth the short drive to Anderson Gate. In Outjo just 4km away there are various good restaurants, and shops. On a hill top with spectacular views of the landscape, wonderful bird life and sightings of game on the adjacent farms we saw eland, oryx, zebra, and squirrels. There is a lovely walk up the koppie to where springs flow in summer. A spectacular inviting swimming pool, amazing star gazing at night. The chalets/rooms are comfortable however they have no electrical points thus coffee making and cell phone charging is done at the main house area, however for us they made a plan with a long lead so that we could have a fan. Wilma and Donsie are exceptionally friendly, accommodating hosts. Will visit again."

"Relaxed overnight stay at Sasa"

(Germany) Karen Felsmann

"After some dusty days in Etosha park, our family of four spent a wonderful afternoon with delicious poolside dinner in relaxed and welcoming atmosphere at Sasa. We would have liked to stay longer and to enjoy the wide and beautiful views from the surrounding rocks!"

"Good halfway point"

(South Africa) Norman Ward

"Excellent food in a romantic setting. Room was just a little too small with no place for luggage. Interesting walks both on mountain and access roads. Quite far off the tar road.

Friendly hosts with interesting conversations - they made time for us and made us feel part of the family."

"We had a wonderful stay at S‰sa. The setting amongst the weathered rocks is amazing. Our family group of six was well catered for on all fronts.

All meals were perfect and a special dinner was made for us on Christmas night Ð especially memorable with a spectacular sunset. On our late afternoon hike we saw dikdik, kudu, gemsbok, baboons and tortoise.

S‰sa was also a perfect launch pad for our day trip to Etosha - accompanied by a breakfast pack that put a smile on our faces all day.

The rooms are nicely designed and comfortable, and we enjoyed a cool dip in the pool - available at any time. All in all, we were perfectly hosted! Highly recommended."

"Enjoyed our stay very much. Donsie made us feel very welcome. Sasa Safari Camp was a lovely surprise at the end of a very long day and rough roads. The views are wonderful, and the sunset was spectacular. We spent two nights there and totally relaxed, some of us taking a walk, and some of us simply spending time around the camp taking photos of the amazing birds, and soaking our feet in the swimming pool.

Accommodation is basic and clean, which is what we were looking for. If there is a downside, it is that the power is only on between 6:30pm and 11:00pm, and hot water is also restricted to certain hours. This wasn't a problem for us, but it might be useful if prospective guests were made aware of these restrictions at time of booking inquiries.

Other than that, Donsie has established a lovely place for travelers who simply want an affordable, relaxing, clean place to stopover."

"Pleasant overnight stay"

"Very nice environment"

(Netherlands) Yvette van der Elst

"Very nice accommodation with a great swimming pool and very beautiful view. There are also hammocks which you can use to relax. The service from Donsie is very good and helpful. We had some problems with the guys selling craft in Outjo and after calling Donsie he came straight to town to help us."

"A very good time"

"We had two wonderful days here in May during our Namibian Tour. The facilities are excellent with your own entertainment area, kitchen, patio and pool. The mountain walk is essential and warms you up for a delicious swim."

"Amazing setting!"

(United Kingdom) Nick Davenport

"Set high in the hills, this place is definitely worth the extra drive as the views are stunning. Facilities are basic but charming. Excellent value for money, great place to use as a base to explore the area, or just for a stopover! "

"Great"

(South Africa) Andre Meiring

"Enjoyed our stay. Lovely setting. Facilities basic but more than adequate. Lovely pool and walk through the forest. Donsie is a charming host and goes out of his way to make things run smoothly. The price is right and we can certainly recommend it. We'll be back."
