"I loved the surroundings, rooms and pool. Everything is provided for at the guesthouse. I was disappointed with the info about certain activities. For eg, a map was given but perhaps land marks could have been mentioned. A trip was said to be 45 min and it was over an hr and 15min. I could have and nearly did miss my canopy tour. We wanted to do the boat trip. The owner could not get hold of the boat co-ordinator so he told us it leaves from the zoo. He failed to mention that you have to pay for and go through the zoo. Extra charge and personally, I cannot stand zoos. Also, for the cableway ride, we were told our tickets were booked and we did not have to stand in the queue yet there were two queues and the one took an hour. My dad is 73yrs old and was not asked to come forward. Neither was a man in a wheelchair. The information would have been pertinent. I also found Ronnie a little sullen at times. He did not smile much. We were offered a welcome drink when we arrived and funnily the cold drink was added to the bill. The website said there were pizza nights available yet the oven has not been in use for 2yrs. The website also says there's a jacuzzi and sauna but fails to mention that there is a charge by the half hour. Surely this should be on the website?

I just received your review and I am really surprised about your comments.

We did everything to please you as much as we could but for activities outside of Ponciana we are not responsable for.



Your welcome drink was not on the bill as the few drinks that were on your bill were taken out of the minibar fridge in your room or your parents.

It's not my fault that you don't like Zoo's and had to go through the Animal & Snake Park for a boat ride - I don't own that place and I'm not making the rules. I gave you tickets for the cableway so that you don't had to make twice the queue once at the ticket sale and once at the cabins. Once again I also don't own the cableway and don't make the rules there.

The jacuzzi and infra-red sauna are extra facilities where you have to pay for. If you go up with the cable way and you go in the restaurant on top - you also have to pay extra and it is also not mentioned when you go up.

If you are not happy with the facilities of activities that are not owned by Ponciana please give your comments directly to the responsable people of these places.

On the website it is clearly mentioned that the pizza oven is only in use for special evenings or events.



And by the way - It was my goodwill to cancel your Cheetah trip - from which I haven't received back my money yet that I paid for you.

I also did not say anything about the solar light that you damaged by parking your car although I saw it happen but you did not even told it me and you were not charged for that either.

Pitty enough you come up with all your remarks after you leave as you did not told me nothing when you where still here."
