"We stayed 8 nights at Rose Cottage in February 2013 and thorougly enjoyed our time there. Roz, was very helpful and friendly offering advise on our time in Hermanus. It was useful to be able to launder our own garments ourselves and to be able to dry them securely out of doors in the cottage back garden. The kitchen supplied all we needed though we only took breakfast and light meals in the cottage as there are many good restaurants in Hermanus and the Old Harbour to more than satisfy our needs. A particular feature of the cottage was the front garden with its lovely flowering bourganvillia and moon flowers. It was good to sit out there for breakfast in the sunshine. The location of the cottage was suitable for us as we were able to walk the coastal path most days and into central Hermanus itself in about 20 minutes. When not in use, our hire car was securely parked off road at the side of the premises.
I am not very fond of ants and we were aware of them coming indoors from time to time if for instance uncovered food was left lying around.
Apart from this, a kingsize matress that was a little soft for us and the occasional noise from the traffic at the cross roads on Church Street, we would certainly consider booking into Rose Cottage in future. "

Roz the owner was there to meet us on arrival and went the extra mile to make sure all our needs were met...even going to the trouble of getting us a fan which was a last minute request! A very welcoming host who made you feel at home.

The cottage was very well presented, an attractive large spacious lounge & dining area. Lots of room to cook in the kitchen. In fact it is much bigger than the photo's convey. All the furnishings were of a high standard, comfortable & well maintained. 2 lovely bedrooms with a gorgeous choice of decor and lots of added extras made it very special, fresh cotton bedding & warm colours.

A spacious front & back garden and a fantastic mountain view to the front. It is in a great location, round the corner from the cliff top footpath and all it's beauty! Perfect for strolling in to visit all the attractions and wonderful restaurants in Hermanus. We really had a great time, it is a peaceful location & felt very safe and secure. Truly it is a great base to get out and visit the locality. "
