The Grey Goose is overlooking the Nguduma Vlei with beautiful views of the Drakensberg Mountains and is the ideal venue for hosting conferences, weddings or just a stopover lodge. Come and experience peace & tranquillity with roaming game, landscaped gardens and enjoy the many facilities that's on offer. We are properly game fenced with very strict security

The Grey Goose is the proud home to the Gooseberries Restaurant. This outstanding restaurant is a fully licensed a la carte restaurant, offering remarkable meals and buffets.

Functions/Conferences:
The Grey Goose offers four well-situated function areas that are suitable to host a variety of Functions, Conferences or Weddings, big or small.

Main Function Hall:
The Main Function Hall is expandable and can seat up to 450 people, fitted with a bar, cosy lounge, lovely open-air deck, toilet facilities, fully air-conditioned and completed with breath-taking mountain views and sunsets.

The Gazebo:
Probably the most popular function area is The Gazebo. Placed next to the swimming pool and ideal for wedding ceremonies or smaller private functions. Seats 60 people cinema style.

The Conference Room:
The Conference Room is air conditioned and fully equipped with a overhead projector & screen, flipcharts etc. and can also be used for business meetings or private functions. Seats 70 cinema style. (Data-projector is available at additional cost).

The Old Function Room:
The “Old” function room/breakfast area is also utilized and seats up to a 150 people cinema style.

"Peaceful and quiet. Have a huge concern around the safety aspect. Sometimes there is one guard sitting at a boom at the second entrance to the Game Lodge. This is like visiting a farm during the 1980's. Farm murders is a reality today and much more needs to be done to make the Lodge secure and safe..."

"I stayed there for period 2-5 June 2015 - room 16. What a pleasure = neat /clean and tidy - every night I came back from my outing. The toiletries/coffee etc. and comfortable warm duvets. Want to visit again for leisure purposes to see and experience the nature and I will I want to recommend you on the quality of your toilet paper- good choice- just shows the standard of your institution.

Thank you very much for the delicious breakfast in the morning and the friendly and helpful staff.
