Kasane Self Catering is nestled on the banks of the Chobe River in the town of Kasane, in the Chobe District of Botswana. You are afforded all the comforts of home with two stylish, fully-equipped rooms in a luxurious garden. Egyptian cotton sheets, air-conditioning and secure parking provide comfortable, cool peace of mind. The rooms are fully equipped allowing you to cater for yourself during your stay. We offer friendly, comfortable living away from home that will suit the needs of business people and adventurous travellers alike. Our garden is alive with an unbelievable variety of birdlife. You will be serenaded by Hueglins robins and amused by the comical trumpeter hornbills. On-site access to river frontage is available.

Each room has an ensuite bathroom, is air conditioned and furnished with an eclectic mix of antiques and more modern solid wood furniture. The kitchenette attached to the bedroom is fully equipped. The beds are hotel grade and we only use percale bed linen. A covered veranda serves as lounge/dining area and birdwatching haven.

A braai area is nestled in a secluded area of the garden next to a water feature. The property is set on the river with access to the river for fishing or enjoying the beautiful sunsets. Complimentary 24 hour Wi-Fi internet access. Secure parking available next to the units.

Within easy walking distance of Kasane's town centre, restaurants, supermarket, bank, petrol station, internet cafe, bureau de change and taxi services. A stay at Kasane Self-catering will allow you to stretch your legs and take a break from the car. Kasane is set on the edge of the world renowned Chobe National Park and 80km from the Victoria Falls, a World Heritage Site. Our property is ideally located for exploring the Chobe National Park and the Chobe River. For those wanting to venture further afield, it is only 80km from Victoria Falls and Livingstone and 120km from Katima Mulilo. Kasane is a crossroads of regional significance making it an ideal base for your explorations. From here you can easily drive to western Zimbabwe, southern Zambia and northern Namibia (including the Caprivi Strip and Etosha National Park). With a 4x4 you can drive through the Chobe National Park via Savuti and through the Moremi Game Reserve to Maun. The surrounding area of Chobe is one of the birding hotspots of Botswana boasting more than 400 species including the rare African Finfoot, Pel's fishing owl and the half collared Kingfisher.

The self catering option is great, and there are several good eating options within a few minutes walk. Also close to groceries and services in the town centre.
We've had a few activities (Vic Falls, river boat) organized here and they have been great, with small or private groups and good guides)."
