Reviews of KwaThabisile Game Lodge

"Was peaceful. Poppy and Happy was just so attentive."

"Our stay was were pleasant.
Was a bit disappointed that the Lodge includes 'Game' in their name yet there were no game grazing under our windows.
The Lodge needs a bit of love and care in certain areas."

"i think breakfast should be included
i think any decent place should offer one or two cups of coffee and tea as a 'welcome' gift
i think guests should have their own remote for the gate."

"We loved it ! The place is clean and well kept. The rooms very comfortable and well equipped.

Hot water was plenty but the bad thing was that the bathroom door couldn't shut close and the chilling wind made it a cold shower.

"Easy to find from OR Tambo Airport. Took just one hour and 25 minutes and Leeuwkloof Valley has its own manned security gate serving all the establishments. Loved the style of our interconnecting Antelope and Bushbaby Units with their own Boma, ideal for a party of seven guests. A shared swimming pool with beautiful views down the valley, especially stunning at sunset, made it. Thanks to Maria and Solly for looking after us on our four-night stopover. Sorry we didn't meet Alex, the owner, who was on holiday herself. Local game we saw included vervet monkeys, waterbuck, kudu and warthog. Not forgetting kwaThabisile's resident cats and dogs with strutting peacocks keeping a watch! Cullinan was a pleasant nearby town with a large Spar supermarket. The Dinokeng Game Reserve is worth a visit too where you can self-drive or arrange a guided game drive. Only two of the Big 5 at the moment but lots of other game. Ludwigs Rose Farm ia also a worthwile attraction nearby, great restaurant with dishes incorporating roses. Thanks to kwaThabisile for providing us with very useful local maps to help us make the most of our limited timee there. We were sad to say goodbye but tot ziens/au revoir /auf wiedersehen/see you again would be more appropriate as we'd love to return one day."

"Quick getaway"

"The lodge is pretty and in beautiful bushveld location so close to Pretoria. There are some nice touches such as a warn water bottle on the bed, pretty linen and very neat gardens. The lodge is not luxurious, but tidy, clean and very comfortable. We all enjoyed our stay. "
