"On our arrival at the Olive Tree Guest House in Springbok we were greeted in a very friendly but professional manner and shown to our beautifully decorated room. We were also shown the other amenities such as the lounge and pool, as well as the dining room where we would be served our breakfast. The room and whole establishment were in excellent condition, with a great deal of attention to the detail of both the cleanliness and also the decor. The garden is lush and well-kept and can be enjoyed from one of several strategically placed benches. The entrance path through the lavender gives off a wonderful fragrance as one enters the guest house.

Our hostess was helpful way above and beyond the “call of duty”, assisting us with a choice of restaurant for dinner, which was excellent, and advising us on where we would best be able to see the flowers. We were even given a hand drawn map for one area, and strongly advised to visit the Namakwaland National Park near Kamieskroon, which proved an unforgettable and deeply moving experience.

The breakfast was excellent and without exception the staff were very helpful and friendly. I would most certainly stay there again and unreservedly recommend it to any traveller to this area.
