"It was a fantastic experience during which we totally relaxed and enjoy. The quietness of the site during the evening was fantastic and the cleaning lady assigned to our unit 9, need to be recommended for her good cleaning work and good client relations.

Please note the bathroom door can not close at all and need to be fixed or adjusted. As far as the shower door is concerned, there is no seal below the bottom hinge and water was streaming on the floor.

I also would like to recommend that management have a look at the two seater in the unit and may be the other units. The cushions are very soft and one can not sit on same as one basically sit on the floor and not even talking to try and get up from the two seater.

In actual fact I left my wedding ring next to our bed and the staff came in to clean and my ring was left in the exact same place I had left it. Rare to have such honest staff.

Merry pebbles offers such great family activities and is a winner for the kids. Fishing, swimming, putt putt, chess, tennis, play area and best of all our kids were safe at all times.

The one room cottage was comfortable with en suite shower. Complimentary tea and coffee was supplied. Stove and a fridge plus crockery and cutlery too but we did not want to cater for one night. We walked around the property which is very pretty with lovely trees and gardens. The Sabie River meanders through the property too which is a lovely sight. There is a Restaurant on the premises but we drove into Sabie Town to have a look around and had a meal at one of the many restaurants. Families with children would obviously have much to do with a nice playground plus a warm water swimming pool. "

In hindsight, if I were to repeat the trip I would make my base at Merry Pebbles, and still being able to visit the places we had seen. We would have been able to take day trips without any problem. This would have saved having to pack up each day.
