"We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. I took part in the annual 7weekspoort MTB race. One of the staff members even assisted by driving my vehicle back from the starting point about 20 kms outside Ladismith. Our room was spacious and clean. Overall we enjoyed our stay."

"After touring the garden route by car we decided on a change of scenery and headed inland via George for a one night stopover at Mountainview BB, Ladysmith, before continuing on to Capetown. On arrival we were met by our charming hostess Marianne (?) and parked our car securely within the grounds.The B&B rooms have been built at the rear of the original house with a delightful courtyard between the two (with small swimming pool, sun loungers, and a shaded bench seating area). During a very pleasant afternoon in the courtyard we discovered that evening meals were available - and decided to take advantage of this extra hospitality. We were not disappointed with this decision,and at 7.00pm enjoyed a fine 3 course meal with a delightful main course of "babotie" and an "honesty bar" available if wanted; together with a friendly chat with another guest from Capetown. Then after a good nights sleep, a hearty farmhouse breakfast, and a hug from Marianne, we left Mountainview BB contented and very pleased with our decision to stay there,and would definitely stay again.
