"We stayed at Pula House on our way back from Morgan Bay. Smithfield is the ideal stopover between the Eastern Cape and Gauteng as it breaks the journey exactly half way.
We found Fabrice and Brendan to be efficient and friendly and felt right at home. Having a swim in the pool was an added bonus in the 40 degree heat that greeted us. We booked 2 double rooms and they were both delightful and comfortable.
Our breakfast was wonderful and we left Pula House feeling refreshed and ready for the last leg of our journey. I can definitely recommend this B&B and will stay there again."

"1 night stay"

(South Africa) Prof Le Roux

"Situated in a nice town. We experienced personal reception, a fancy room, a lovely garden, friendly dogs, and an organized and super dinner. In the morning a good breakfast was enjoyed. Good value for money and we enjoyed our stay at Pula House. Thank you.

"The accommodation was satisfactory. It is more the age and quaintness of the house which appeals. It is tastefully decorated and the bedding is good.

A new owner had taken over only a few months prior to us being there, so I think there was a lot to be learnt about the business.

The breakfast was tasteful, possibly not as plentiful as we were accustomed to (from a variation point of view).
