Muco is Kirundi (Kinyarwanda) name meaning “light”. This was our inspiration for this wonderful guesthouse, situated in the centre of the northern suburbs, the elite area of Johannesburg.

Muco has 14 bedrooms with 1 studio. All of the rooms are serviced and are inclusive of breakfast, either a fridge or mini-bar, a kettle, a toaster, a microwave and a heater, as well as a small office to work from, plus the full package of DSTV, internet and ADSL. Some of them have their own private garden.

There is a main garden and a swimming pool, which is tranquil and offers a very peaceful, home feeling. The decor is African using natural materials.

This bed and breakfast guesthouse is ideally located in Rivonia, Sandton, close to two major shopping centres within walking distance of the Sandton area. It is also in close proximity to doctors, a post office, banks, restaurants and even the freeway to the airport (N1 and N3). The hub of Sandton City is approximately 10 minutes away. If you are looking for entertainment or if you are feeling lucky, the Montecasino with its Tuscan atmosphere is easy to get to from this central location.
