It was a lovely weekend and I definitely recommended the place.
If I could make one negative comment, the sleeper coaches in the lounge are not very comfortable for sleeping a whole night as they have wooden cross pieces which dig into you. Other than that, perfect!

"Nestled in the heart of White River, Cook's Comfort is a charming, relaxing and quaint hideaway. It offers scenic views, great comfort and wonderful tranquil surroundings. We spent 3 nights here but wish we had stayed a week. We will definitely be back, thank you Gerhard and Irene."

There's gardens, vast extensions of well-kept grass, small rocks to climb onto, butterflies and dragonflies to watch and peacocks wandering around. You can spend hours in the yard. It’s peaceful, safe and beautiful. The pool in the sun was lovely, there’s a children’s playground too. The views across the lowveld are breath-taking. It’s so quiet. The houses are set nicely around the big property so that every house has space around it.

The house itself was very clean and well equipped. We did all our cooking there, it was great. The rooms were nice and comfortable and the bathroom (with bath) was good. You can eat on the veranda. We were there on the hottest time of the year and the chalet got hot at night, there are fans.

The place is easy to find and at a striking distance to both Nelspruit (maybe 15-20 min) and White River (maybe 5-7 min). White River has good shops for most normal stuff so you really don’t even always need to go to Nelspruit.

All in all, we absolutely loved our holiday at Cooks Comfort. It was so relaxing and beautiful, the perfect getaway. So memorable for the kids. Will definitely return! Thanks a lot.

They enjoyed themselves in the swimming pool and taking photos of the place and birds around. The day we had to visit Kruger national park we were all late because we were sleeping comfortably. The caretaker is also a nice welcoming guy who explained everything nicely.
Despite the fact that there was no electricity on my last day I woke up to find a gas stove outside. I will not hesitate to recommend Cook's Comfort to my friends. My stay was too short but hope to revisit again in the future.
